BLACKBAUD NAMES UNIT CHIEF Featured

Brian Boruff, Blackbaud Blackbaud has hired Brian Boruff as president of its enterprise customer business unit. He takes over from EVP Charlie Cumbaa, who was interim ECBU president of while a replacement was sought for Joe Moye, who resigned in March. Moye is now president of Americas Software for Virtustream. Boruff worked most recently at InfoSys where he was a VP from June 2013 through this month. Before that, he was a managing director at Accenture from May 2011 through June 2013.

A major part of his career was as a VP Microsoft where he worked from July 1993 through September 2008 and at Apple where he held a variety of roles from March 1985 through July 1993 in its national accounts, education and Apple integration systems. The operations of the enterprise unit include the former MicroEdge, which was acquired by the nonprofit software company on October 1. MicroEdge's operations had $6.6 million in revenue for the quarter ended March 31.
