QBES GROWING REVS, SHARE

Brad Smith, IntuitIntuit says QuickBooks Enterprise Solution continues to grow. The company did not provide  numbers, but CEO Brad Smith said during this week's earnings webcast for the year ended July 30 the desktop product is growing customers, market share and revenue.

AVIDEXCHANGE HONORS ARXIS

Bob Gaby, Arxis TechnologyArxis Technology has been named Rookie of the Year award by AvidXchange. The Simi Valley, Calif.-based reseller was chosen in the first year of the award. AvidXchange said the honor is based on the fact that as a new reseller Arxis had highest number of leads, most revenue from closed deals, and largest number of dedicated marketing programs among new dealers.

INTACCT NAMES PRESIDENT'S CLUB

SageIntacctSage Intacct has named 14 organizations to its Presidents' Club for 2017. Those selected include firms reselling its software and those providing outsourced accounting services via the Intacct Accountants Program. The software company said it added 37 VARs and 50 new members of the accountants program during the last year.

Henk van den Bogaart, Unit4 Unit4 has named Henk van den Bogaart, as chief human resources officer. Van den Bogaart was mostly recently group HR director of the Vion Food Group, a job he began in October 2015.

SILVERSUN CITES TIMING IN REV DROP

SWKSilverSun Technologies, the parent of Livingston, N.J.-based reseller SWK Technologies, has reported a sharp drop in net income on less than 1 percent drop in revenue for the second quarter ended June 30. The culprit was service revenue decline of 4.1 percent for the most recently ended period.

 Ron Books, ECi Software Solutions The Exact Group is spinning off its manufacturing software operations in the United States. Macola, JobBoss and Max will end up under the ownership of ECi Software Solutions of Fort Worth, Texas. Terms were not disclosed. Exact, based in the Netherlands, will continue to sell its Globe, Synergy and Exact Online software in this country.
