EVP Dan Wernikoff is moving from his job as head of Intuit’s Consumer Group. He will begin working with CEO Brad Smith on strategic projects when the company ends its year on July 31.

Revenue for QuickBooks desktop continued to grow during Intuit’s third quarter ended January 31. The numbers on the company’s reports do not show that result. But CEO Brad Smith said during this week’s earnings webcast that is because of accounting rules.

Epicor has introduced Kinetic Design, which provides a framework with a set of standards for the way applications appear on different computing devices. At this week’s Insights conference, Lee An Schommer, SVP of global product management, said Kinetic “is our design standards for building applications.”
