HSO, a Microsoft Solution Integrator, has expanded into Canada and the Pacific Northwest. The Netherlands-based company has opened an office in Vancouver, B.C. 

ECI Software Solutions—parent to JobBoss, Macola and Max—has hired Leslie Bodnar as chief marketing officer. Based in Fort Worth, Texas, ECi has been ramping up its executive team since its acquisition by Apax Partners last year.

Macola has struck a deal with LucaNet to provide financial reporting as part of the company's manufacturing software. LucaNet can extract data directly from Macola, along with other financial and spreadsheet software.
