Ron Eagle has announced that he will step down as president of the Information Technology Alliance in September. Eagle said it was time for new leadership after his 15 years in the position. Eagle presided over the organization when it transformed from Acute, which had started as a group of IBM PC users to the adoption of the new name minus the IBM sponsorship. ITA has two parts: the largely reseller oriented track and also the Internal Technology Leaders track for technologists from firms who are in the middle of the Top 100 of  CPA organizations.
