ACCOUNTMATE: MICROSOFT’S “LOST WORLD”?

lost worldAccountMate, which has gotten aggressive in channel recruiting, is now going after Microsoft resellers. That follows last year's campaign in which it targeted the Sage channel. In this case, the company's emailing is headlined "Is Microsoft telling you to "get lost"?

 

And the message goes straight to the heart of the Microsoft Master VAR program in which smaller dealers are being signed up as sales affiliates that operate under the Master VAR's name. It reads "If you're ready to rebrand your business, become a branch of a national distributor and let someone else decide your future, there's no need to read any further." The AccountMate campaign tells the audience to keep control over its future and points to the input that its resellers have regarding features to be added to the company's software.
