F9 READIES V5 FOR MAS 90/200
With Microsoft replacing FRx with Management Reporter, F9, owned by Infor, has been spinning out press releases at faster clip than it has for a long time. That includes the announcement that F9 Version 5 for Sage MAS 90/200 will be released on July 1 and F9 is recruiting customers for a beta program that starts on June 15. Version 5 features are designed to make use of Excel 2007.
This includes new Tasks Panes, which utilize changes to the Excel 2007 user interface, enabling users to interact with F9 directly from inside a spreadsheet. New Reporting Controls are displayed in a drop-down format for selection of filters and enhance toolsets provide improved Analyze and Zero Suppress functionality. The company says Version 5 is more easily accessible from the Excel Ribbon, displaying as a tab among functional groups. F9 also provides new data analysis and visualization tools. Key Performance indicators can be added to F9 Reports via the F9 Report Wizard, Table and Pivot Tables, GL Paste and Analyze functions. Version 5 for Sage Pro was released earlier this year and the company has confirmed its compatibility with Version 2010 of Dynamics GP SQL and SQL Express.
