Blackbaud's revenue from international operations sank by 10.8 percent for the year ended December 31. The breakout for numbers of sales outside of the United States came as the company detailed its new reporting segments with the filing of the nonprofit software company's annual report with the SEC this week. The International Business Unit had slightly less than $42 million in revenue for 2105, down from $47.1 million in 2014.
SAGE'S SCHEIPE LOSES INTERIM TAG

Marc Scheipe, who has been serving as interim president of Sage North America, has lost the interim label. The company has appointed him as president and he will continue to sit on the Sage executive committee, reporting to CEO Steve Kelly. In making the appointment, the company credited Scheipe with hitting financial targets and completing "the first stages of its transformation."
INTACCT PROMOTES MACDONALD

Intacct has promoted Taylor Macdonald, who heads the cloud software company's channel sales. Macdonald, who joined the San Jose, Calif.-based company in 2010 as VP of channel sales, was made SVP this month. In both positions, Macdonald has been responsible for Intacct's go-to-market channel strategy, channel sales, partner recruitment, channel programs and channel development. Macdonald was a top channel executive at Sage, where he worked February 1998 through October 2007. He was then VP of worldwide channel sales and alliances at Deltek for 13 months and VP of channel sales for Promethean in 2008 and 2009.

Sage has opened a marketplace that it calls a global distribution platform for ISVs. The online Sage Marketplace is designed for ISVs to sell add-on products that integrate with Sage's applications—Sage One, Live, Impact and X3. I keep coming back to the gap between X3 and the others and trying to figure out how it makes sense.

Reckon, which markets online accounting applications, is targeting international growth in three product line segments. The Australian company, which sells the Reckon One accounting package, is expanding in English-speaking companies with its accounting, practice management and document management products. The software publisher described those goals in its investor presentation that accompanied its release of financial results.

The Prodware Group reported a 12.1 percent-increase in revenue for the fourth quarter ended December 31 pushed it to a 4-percent increase for 2015. Revenue for the France-based group hit about $201.7 million for the recently ended year, up 6.7 percent on a like-for-like basis. About 48 percent of revenue for 2015 came from French-speaking areas that include North Africa with sales in that area increasing by 14 percent.

Ronan Quirke, who managed Xero's developer program for the last 11 months, has left the company. Quirke, who was global head of the software publisher's developer platform from March 2015, joined BNZ this month as head of digital banking for business. Quirke joined the New Zealand-based cloud software company in April 2011 as an API account manager.
SWK SELLS SAGE EXTENDED APPS

SWK Technologies has sold its Sage 100 Extended Solution to DSD Business Systems. Both DSD and SWK had updated and maintained the catalogue since its release by Sage. SWK CEO Jeff Roth explained the decision in a prepared statement, saying that while the products are valuable to customers, "the time and effort required to support these solutions and the focus that SWK has on other growth areas demanded that we seek a trusted partner to maintain and support these applications for our customers and other Sage business partners."

Reseller Tribridge has launched a program designed to provide greater gender equality in its operations. The Tampa, Fla.-based organization has established the Tribridge Women's Network, which it says includes "measurable commitments for recruiting, retention and development of women leaders, including programs designed to accelerate personal and professional growth."
