SAGE AMERICAS H2 BIZ PICKS UP

Sage logoRevenue growth for the Americas in the second half ended September 30 outpaced the first-half increase, Sage said as the company reported results for fiscal 2012. Americas revenue was about $411.7 million, a 4-percent rise over 2011 while EBIDTA hit roughly $139 million, a 5-percent increase. Read more...

CEO PARKER LEAVING DELTEK

Kevin Parker, DeltekKevin Parker is leaving Deltek after seven years as CEO on Friday, December 7.  Mike Corkery, CFO of the software company, will serve as acting CEO. We were told that the private equity investment firm Thoma Bravo, which bought the company in October, tends to buy companies with management it likes.

ACUMATICA MOVES HQ TO WASHINGTON

Yury Larichev, AcumaticaAcumatica has relocated its headquarters from Bethesda, Md., to Kirkland, Wash. The vendor says the new office will be open on December 3. COO Yury Larichev says the move is designed to give the company access to the talent pool in Washington to support plans to double channel partner sales, pre-sales consulting and other operational areas next year.
