QURIUS DETAILS FATAL CASH DRAIN

qurius logoEuropean Dynamics reseller Qurius, fated to go from the Dynamics Inner Circle to liquidation in roughly 90 days, has put down the events that have produced its slated demise. In a pre-mortem - in the words of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail", "I'm not dead yet" - and not a post mortem, the company said that "By the end of May, Qurius was in such a shape that the cash position of the other operating companies was not enough to support Qurius Germany."

UNIT4 SAAS REVS LEAP; AXES POLISH CEO

Uni4 LogoSaaS and subscription revenue grew by 20.1 per cent for Unit4, the company that markets the Agresso and Coda lines, for the half ended June 30. That outstripped the 4 percent increase in total revenue for the Netherlands-based company. INTUIT'S QUICKBOOKS ENTERPRISE SURGES

Brad Smith, IntuitIntuit's QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions showed the largest sequential growth in its history for the fourth quarter ended July 31, at least since the company stopped reporting units sold to showing active subscribers. The company ended 2012 with 71,000 QBES subscribers, up 7,000 from the third quarter and up from 57,000 at the end of fiscal 2011. Read more...

Ava Idom, Aim SolutionsAim Solutions, a Dallas, Texas-based reseller, has been named the Acumatica Partner of the Year. The award was made this week at Acumatica's reseller conference. Aim is owned by Ava Idom. Her firm also sells Dynamics GP, SL and CRM and in the days before Great Plains purchased Solomon was a frequent Solomon award winner.
